Presently we have total enrollment of 300 plus students and 35 regular faculty members in the departments of Computer Science, Tibetan Studies, Humanities, and Chinese.
Academic project
Apart from its ongoing academic course under mysore university (BA Honours in Tibetan Language and Literature and BA Honours in Chinese Language and Literature, and regular programmes in BA, BCA and BCom.) However, from academic year 2018-19 onwards, the institute obtained its full affiliation from the Bangalore University in B.A, B.Com, BBA and BCA courses. From academic session 2017-2018, the Dalai Lama Institute expands to include additional academic projects such as: Diploma courses in Chinese Language, English Language course for Geshe la’s and introduce its Research Programme leading to PhD Degree in Tibetan Studies under the University of Mysore.
