Professor Wen Haur Sheih is from Taiwan.  He has Doctor of Education degree from University of Northern Colorado, USA and many years of lecturing experience at university level in Taiwan.

He and his wife are retired university faculty members. They have one son and a daughter.

He teaches Chinese poetry to BA Honours  students in Chinese Language and Literature during the morning session. In the afternoon he teaches Chinese Language to students who are learning basic Chinese.

Prof. Wen Haur Sheih will teach this entire semester as a volunteer.

Melanie Schatz has Masters Degree in Maternal and Childhood health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Melanie is here as an intern lecturer on a program sponsored by the International Law and Policy Institute, Norway. She takes conversational English classes using health education as content to improve their ability to communicate generally and about health concerns in English. Melanie is here for the entire semester
