The Python IT Specialist Training Program was successfully conducted at The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education from 16th March to 03rd April, with the participation of 37 students. The training provided a comprehensive learning experience, covering Python programming from basic to advanced levels under the guidance of the trainer.
Throughout the program, students actively engaged in hands-on learning, developing their coding and problem-solving skills. In the final three days, students worked on project presentations, either individually or in pairs, showcasing their creativity and technical understanding.
The projects reflected a wide range of ideas and interests. Some students developed games, while others worked on applications such as hostel management systems, chatbots, and more. These presentations highlighted the students’ ability to apply their learning in practical and innovative ways.
The program not only enhanced students’ programming knowledge but also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and confidence. It was a valuable learning experience that prepared students for future opportunities in the field of technology.
The training was organized by The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education and The Tibet Fund, and is an initiative of the Tibetan Economic, Social and Cultural Resilience Program funded by the United States Government.
