Participated in Tibet Festival at Bangalore city:

Although Trungkhar coincided with the summer holiday break, those that were here joined the Tibet Festival formal functions and events at Bangalore city on July 6 & 7 respectively. We displayed a large flex of the institute and distributed fliers and brochures too to many that came for the Tibet Festival -2014 at Bangalore city. It was a very good opportunity to let people know that a Tibetan Institute for Higher Education is in Bangalore vicinity.

‘Life Saving’ or ‘Tsethar’ activity:

Another event that DLIHE carried out in conjunction with Trungkhar this year was the ‘Life Saving’ or ‘Tsethar’ activity. We were able to buy two drums of fish from a fish farm located near Hunsur settlement and then released them into the Cauvery river flowing by the famous Argeshwara temple located about 2 kilometers from KR Nagar city. This was a very gratifying event.
