The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education (DLIHE) and The Tibet Policy Institute (TPI)have renewed their collaboration by signing a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 30 September, 2024 continuing their efforts in Tibetan studies and academic exchange.
The signing ceremony at TPI was attended by key researchers and included remarks from Tempa Gyaltsen Zamlha, Deputy Director of TPI, and Dawa Tsering, TPI Director, who emphasized the partnership’s significance. Dr. Tenzin Pasang, Principal of DLIHE, highlighted the importance of academic mobility and joint initiatives.
The MoU outlines plans for academic exchanges, joint research, internships, and conferences, aiming to enhance opportunities for scholars over the next five years. It will be effective from 30 September, 2024, with potential extensions based on mutual consent.
