STUDENT ACTIVITIES – II

The Student Council and other Student Bodies organized the following student related activities in the week ending March and the start of April adding life and colour to the campus life.
March 21: “2014 Roundup”: Four students shared their thoughts on major events that had great impact in 2014. These pertained issues related to ISIS, Chinese Leadership and their Policy, Crisis in Russia and Ukraine.

2nd Year Tibetan Language and Literature students contributed two more events in continuation of their Program Celebrating His Holoiness’80th Birth Anniversary. These were

    • A Resource Talk on ‘Why the Dalia Lama Matters?’Gyen Nawang Dorjee La and Gyen Aduk Kunchok la were specially invited as Resource persons to share their thoughts on this topic. It was a very enlightening evening.
    • Poetry Recitation: A poetry recitation in Tibetan was organized. This was a very special occasion. Students poured their hearts and bowed their heads in tribute to His Holiness in various dialects and tones.
