To pay homage to Tibet’s youngest political prisoner on His 26th Birthday, The Political Science department at the DalaiLama Institute organized a live Panel discussion via Google Hangout with Research scholar Tsangtrug Tobla from college for Higher Tibetan Studies, Dharamsala, lecturers Tapsang la and Aduk Kunchok from Dalai Lama Institute. The Panel discussion was moderated by a BA 1st year student, Tenzin Tsering and coordinated by Tenzin Rigsang, Political Science lecturer at the Institute. It was a rare moment for students to question the experts on the issues and controversies surrounding the Panchen Lamas. Panchen Rinpoche, Gendhen Choekyi Nyima has been abducted and hidden from Tibetan and world view for the past two decades. Here is a symbol of Tibet in prison.
We thank all the IT personnel at both ends of India who worked hard to make this possible.
