CUTS tour team visit the institute. A team of forty Final year Acharya students from Central University of Tibetan Studies (CUTS), Varanasi halted at the college on October 11, 2016. They were on their way to Sera as part of their Annual Education Tour.
Meeting of Board of Examination: On 12th October, the Board of Examination met under the chairmanship of the Principal. Question papers related to the Semester-end- Examination for December, 2016 were proof read and after ratification formally approved. These will be formally now submitted to the University.
Saturday programs – A special focus:
Saturdays are usually a busy time at the campus. Every first Saturday, a thorough campus cleaning is carried out. Each student can contribute two hours of Community service.
During Second Saturday, the campus is unusually quiet and still as most go outing.

Two major activities concluded. First, Tibetan Department workshop By Geshe Rongpo Lobsang Nyendrak la. This was a truly learning opportunity for our students.
Next, the Professional Development in-service workshop on ‘Teaching & Learning’ By Dr. Pema Yangchen formally ended with concluding Address by the Principal. A formal dinner too was arranged for all participants.

INTER-DEPARTMENT ELOCUTION COMPETITION (10:30AM-12:30PM)
(Drama, Poetry and Speech in TIBETAN)
This was special program organized by the Student Council. A total of twelve items were presented. All participant did extremely well, but BA Department outshone other departments in this activity.
At 7:00PM: Performance by Mysore Tibetan Students Association (MTSA):
MTSA performed Cultural programs to raise Funds to participate in the Centenary Celebrations of the Mysore University. Currently over 250 Tibetan students study in about 13 colleges located in Mysore under the University of Mysore.

All clubs will meet for final verification of the membership. Each club will write a brief report of your activities so far and email it to the Vice-principal by Monday 31st, October
At 7:00PM: INTER-DEPARTMENT CULTURAL COMPETITION: This program was organized by the Student Council. It will be the final major student activity before we settle down to Academic work in November and Prepare for the Semester-End- Examination starting early December.
