September 10, 2025 – The Department of Commerce & Management has successfully wrapped up its intensive add-on certificate course titled “Master Accounting from Zero,” which ran from July 21st to September 10th, 2025.
The one-month comprehensive program was designed to build accounting proficiency among students, taking them from fundamental concepts to advanced practical applications. The course maintained a rigorous structure with specific attendance and performance benchmarks to ensure quality outcomes.
According to the trainers, Prof. Syed Amjed, Mr. Dawa Norbu, and Ms. Ngawang Lhamo, the program was specifically designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and prepare them for real-world accounting tasks, a department spokesperson explained.
The course maintained high evaluation standards for certification. Students were required to maintain a minimum of 85% attendance and successfully pass a comprehensive practical examination demonstrating their hands-on skills. Those who met both the attendance and examination requirements were awarded formal certificates, adding valuable credentials to their academic and professional profiles. Fortunately, all students enrolled in the course successfully received their certificates.
The successful completion of this program marks another milestone for the Department of Commerce & Management in its continuous effort to provide quality skill-enhancement opportunities to students, thereby strengthening their preparation for accounting careers and advanced studies in the field.
