Gratitude to His Holiness: A Tibetan Department Program
As an expression of Gratitude to His Holiness The Dalai Lama, the Tibetan Department initiated
a weeklong program that focused on the life and works of His Holiness. There were
presentations, discussions and quizzes on the following topics.

• May 2: His Holiness Books and Publication
• May 4: Areas of Accomplishments
• May 6: Vision and Areas of Focus

These were personal ways to know and appreciate the herculean responsibilities His Holiness has
shouldered to make our lives better.

Foot Ball Tournament
After the Interdepartment basketball tournament last week, the Interdepartment
football tournament began on Tuesday, May 3 , 2016. The Student Council organizes these tournaments.

Saturday, May 7, 2016
The Student Council organised, ‘A student discussion on areas of improvement in the
institute .’ 6 students from different departments led the discussion.
Later, in the evening, the student council organized a screening of VOA show in the institute
hall. A number of students showed great interest in watching the news about both inside and
outside of Tibet.
