Gen Malik has always worked on strong value systems and principles that have helped him become a guiding force for various groups & teams across the country. His current focus is on creating awareness amongst the youth of India about our national security, governance, and the process of nation building. The Dalai Lama Institute was truly honored to have him address the students on August 13, 2014 on ‘National Security- Vision and Challenges.’ This interactive session was a rare opportunity to get out of the textbook and into the real world of experience and action. The General has had an illustrious career of three & half decades in the Indian Army.
