Historic_MomentOn Wednesday, December 4, 2013 Dr. Gopal Raju, the University of Mysore appointed  Chief Superintendant of Examination conducted the first formal written examinations for the students of the Institute under the ‘Outreach Program’ comprising of BA, B.Com and BCA undergraduate degree courses recognized by the University of Mysore. This is the first Semester examination for 2013-2014 academic year. The students of the ‘Specialized Program’ comprising of BA (Honors) degree students in Tibetan Language and Literature and Chinese Language and Literature will be having their first University examinations on December 9, 2014. These are indeed historic moments for the Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education as students completing these courses will receive their degree certificates from the University of Mysore. The University of Mysore is the first University in the state of Karnataka and the sixth University in India. Further, Tibetan is now added as a subject in the University courses.
