FEBRUARY EVENTS:

Visit of a Reknowned Diplomat
On 8th of Feb. 2017 , Former Foreign Secretary of India, Member of Planning Commission of India, Mr. Shiv Shankar Menon visited our institute. B.A. students and the teaching staff gathered in the hall during 6th period to interact with him. The session was about how among the Asian nations; Tibet, India and China had close relations but it is Tibet that has preserved Buddhist values and heritage from century to century and is able to now spread the same in India and China where these have been lost. The students and faculty had the opportunity to ask many questions. The vice principal gave the vote and the Principal presented a traditional Khatak, a college magazine and journal to Mr Shiv Shankar Menon.

Yearly Expenditure 2016

On Thursday 9th of Feb. 2017, the Student Council organized a meeting between administration and the students on Yearly Expenditure for fiscal year 2016 of each student and a comparison with those under T.C.V Scholarship. The introductory speech given by President, Student Council followed by details of the expenditure by the Principal, Dr. B. Tsering. This was followed by and Question and Answer session

Geological Survey at Bylakuppe

On Friday, 10th Feb. 2017, the 3rd year geography students went for their field survey to Bylakuppe. Entire Saturday was spent doing the survey at Golden Temple, Bylakuppe, headed by the Geography Professor Eswarappa and Lecturer Tenzin Dhondul. This survey was about Tourist visiting the Golden Temple. They returned on Sunday – all safe and sound

Journey For Conference

On Saturday 11th of Feb. 2017, six students, representing our institute started their journey towards Varanasi (U.P) for a Conference, “All India Tibetan College Students’ Conference.”. As per official announcement three men and three women students got the opportunity to go there. They’re happy to go ahead and expand their horizons.
