The BA department hosted a “Creative Writing Workshop” led by Tenzin Tsundue, a renowned Tibetan writer and activist. This engaging three-hour session was designed to provide first-year students all over the departments, Optional English students, Geshes, and a nun from the Geshes’ English Program, with sagacity in the writing process. The English faculties collaboratively led the workshop to support their students’ growth and learning.
Throughout the workshop, Mr. Tsundue skillfully guided students in elevating their linguistic abilities, emphasising the beauty of language and the art of constructing sentences to craft meaningful poetry. His approach inspired creativity and encouraged students to explore their own writing potential. The BA department expressed heartfelt gratitude to Tsundue la for his voluntary contribution, which enriched the participants’ learning experience and ignited their passion for writing.
