Youth Empowerment Workshop on 11th & 12th Aug 2025
Over two transformative days, our students and staff had the privilege to engage in an insightful Conflict Resolution Workshop conducted by the Tibetan Centre for Conflict Resolution (TCCR).

Day 1
Student Session – Introduction to Conflict
The workshop began with an introduction to the concept of conflict, focusing on differentiating between issues and relationships in a conflict situation. The morning session emphasized the importance of active listening through engaging group activities.
In the afternoon, participants explored conflict escalation and shared personal experiences through storytelling and chart-making exercises. This encouraged open communication and empathy among students.
Day 2
Student Activity – Democracy vs. Monarchy
Participants engaged in group activities, drama, and role play to compare democracy and monarchy as forms of governance, exploring how these systems can lead to societal judgments and conflicts. This session promoted critical thinking, teamwork, and conflict analysis.
Conclusion
The event proved to be highly engaging and meaningful, as students actively participated in various activities and discussions on conflict resolution. They not only learned different approaches to avoid conflict but also understood the importance of fostering harmony and mutual respect among themselves. Overall, the workshop successfully enhanced awareness about the nature of conflict and provided effective strategies to mitigate it, leaving the students better equipped to handle challenges constructively in their personal and academic lives.
