April 25, 2014. The two week Science meets Dharma Teachers’ Training workshop for monks and nuns conducted by Dr.Werner Nater and Prof.Maja  Burkhard at the Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education from April 14, 2014 concluded today with a formal ceremony.

The purpose of this training is to give nuns and monks who have already a basic knowledge of science, a concise introduction into science teaching. After this short preparation they should be able to assist teaching of science in the monasteries at a beginners’ level. A total of seventeen were able to avail of this opportunity.
