The new Academic Year 2014-2015 commenced at The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education with a simple Opening Function on 28th July, 2014 with Mr. Tashi Wangdue, CEO of FTCI as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, the institution welcomed new staff members, new Student Council members and recognized the1 2 Merit scholars from different schools who joined this institute this academic session. It was also an opportunity to thank former Student Council members for their dedicated input.
The Chief Guest congratulated new and old students for getting admission in this institution. He stated that TCV is the most sought after schools by Tibetans in India and this college will be soon the most sought after college by Tibetans not only from India but from all over the world. He lamented “there was no such college in my time. If there was, I would not have given a second thought in joining it!”
