The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education had the immense honour and privilege to receive a visit from Ama Jetsun Pema la, Gen Thupten Dorjee la, the President of Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV), and Mrs. Lobsang Tsomo la, the General Secretary of TCV, from 9^th – 10^th September 2021. The new Principal, staff and students benefited greatly from Amala and the team’s presence and guidance during two days of intensive meetings and deliberations on the vision of DLIHE and its implementation. It was an inspiration to see Ama Jetsun Pema la’s profound dedication to serve the Tibetan youth via TCV and DLIHE, and we are very grateful for her visit!
