The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education, in collaboration with The Chief Representative Office of the Central Tibetan Administration, South Zone, , organized a grand celebration to commemorate the 88th Birth Anniversary of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at the institute in Bangalore. The event showcased a special exhibition highlighting the biography of His Holiness, curated by various departments of the institute. The celebration began with a long live special prayer and was followed by Lhagyal, a traditional Tibetan offering ceremony. An official function took place at the Taktse Auditorium, where dignitaries and students paid tribute to His Holiness through speeches. The festivities continued with a food festival, featuring delicious Tibetan cuisine, and culminated in a lively circle dance, showcasing the vibrant Tibetan culture. The celebration successfully brought together Tibetans in and around Bangalore City to honor the life and teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
