Certificate Course: Digital Marketing & Graphics Design Expert (DMGD)

DLIHE student guidelines for DMGD students

 I. Accommodation and other facilities:

  • Separate hostel facilities are available for men and women.
  • Meal services are available for three times a
  • Classroom and Computer Lab facilities are available. Computer Lab will be available for three hours in the morning sessions based on the timetable of your Computer Lab access is available in the afternoon session from 2:30 to 5:00 pm.
  • WIFI facilities is available in Academic Centre and Catering center
  • Wellness center is available in campus for common diseases/illness.
  • Institute’s Library will be open from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm on working

II. Rules and Regulations:

  • Meals services will only be provided during the given time.
  • Smoking Cigarette is strictly prohibited in Classroom, Hostel premises and public
  • Zero tolerance for drinking alcohol in the hostel
  • Students must report to the hostels before 8:30 pm as the regular residents of hostels.
  • Students must secure 85% of attendance for classes. If failed to do so, students will not receive certification.
  • Email CETS and DLIHE for leave applications and other requests.
  • Students must follow the dress code as mentioned below.
  • Students must take part in cleanliness activities of respective hostel as per the direction of the warden and the matron.
  • Students must be attentive to the class schedules and be punctual to the respective classes.
  • Students must report to the respective hostel warden and matron to get hostel
  • HoD’s, dean of students and faculty members will look after the dress code and all of them have authority to reject or send back to the hostel to redress.

III. DA and TA reimbursements

  • If you are travelling by bus, you will get full reimbursement as per bill.
  • If you are travelling by train, you will get full reimbursement of AC 3 tier ticket fare.
  • If you are travelling by air, you will get reimbursement equivalent to AC 3 tier ticket fare.
  • If you need to travel in Auto rickshaw/taxi in between your journey, you will get reimbursement upon proper bill submission.
  • If you need to stay in hotel during your journey, you will get reimbursement of up to INR 1,200. A maximum of one night stay at hotel is allowed if the person is travelling from north.
  • You can claim Rs.500/- per day as daily allowances during your travel.
  • Students must submit original tickets and bills to get your reimbursements.

Dress Code

The prime objective of a dress code is to provide direction to students to wear formal or suitable decent attire for any occasion. In fact, the dress code is a way to help students to develop social skills, which is essential for the development of holistic education. It gives an impression among the students that they are equal, irrespective of their social and economic background. It also helps in enriching our culture and tradition by wearing traditional attire.
