The session on “Quantitative Methods and Publication in Academic Research” was conducted on 20th April 2026, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, by Dr. Prakasha G. S., Associate Professor, Department of Education, Christ University. The program was organized with the primary objective of strengthening the research capabilities of faculty members and enhancing their engagement in quality academic publication.
The session witnessed active participation from faculty members belonging to both the regular and specialist departments, reflecting a strong institutional commitment toward academic excellence and research development. Dr. Prakasha provided a comprehensive overview of quantitative research methods, emphasizing on techniques and process Q1, Q2 and Q3 Journals.
A significant part of the session focused on the process of academic publication, particularly in reputed and peer-reviewed journals. The resource person guided participants through the stages of identifying suitable journals, understanding indexing systems, avoiding predatory journals, and adhering to publication ethics.
