We are ecstatic and overwhelmed with gratitude to announce the success of historic association with Bangalore University by achieving yet another milestone in the academic voyage and accolade of the institute.
The institute conducted its long-overdue Ph.D. entrance exam in Tibetan studies with incontrovertible euphoria and excitement. We are proud and exhilarated to be the only Tibetan higher education institute in the country to cement necessary platform and opportunity for learners and academicians in our community to achieve academic aspirations, acquire universally recognized Ph.D. degrees in Tibetan studies.
There are a total of eight established scholars and intellectuals working in different academic institutions in varied capacity as candidates appearing for the first Ph.D. entrance exam in Tibetan studies conducted at the institute, fully affiliated to the Bangalore University. We have 3 Ph.D. candidates for Tibetan History, 2 Ph.D. candidates for Tibetan Language and 2 candidate in Buddhist Philosophy and 1 Tibetan Literature.
The institute is confident that the Ph.D. candidates will excel in their academic endeavors and set a precedent for all aspiring Ph.Ds. in Tibetan studies to associate with the institute. The Dalai Lama institute for Higher Education is undeniably the first of its kind in the Tibetan community and we are committed and enthused to explore infinite possibilities in education and create necessary platform and opportunities for learners in our community to achieve their academic aspirations.
