Dawa Tsering M.Com., M.B.A., PGDBL., SET., (M.Phil.,)
Dawa Tsering has been Vice-Principal at DLIHE since 2018. He also teaches the core papers of B. Com and B.B.A. courses, having over 21 years of teaching experience. Besides having qualified SET (Qualification for Assistant Professor) in Commerce, Dawa holds a double Master degree (M.Com and MBA). His teaching spans subjects as diverse as Business Management, Marketing Management, Production Management, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Laws, Banking Laws, Company Laws.
Dawa Tsering joined DLIHE as Assistant Professor in 2013 and served as Commerce HoD from 2015 to 2018. He is an alumnus of Madras Christian College and Loyola College in Chennai. He has completed PGD Business Law from Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University and currently, he is pursuing a Master’s in Business Law, (M.B.L) at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.
Prior to joining DLIHE, he was HoD for Commerce at TCV Bylakupee in Mysore where he also taught Business Studies and Accountancy. At Bylakuppe, Dawa served as housemaster, chaired committees overseeing English elocution, debate, substance abuse prevention. He served as Chief Centre Superintendent at the CBSE Board examinations. He has also served as founding chairman and trustee of the social action movement charitable trust.
